Dr. Linus Anukwu is a board-certified practitioner of family medicine who manages various outpatient clinic responsibilities in Illinois while also leading the family practice department at Presence Hospital in Champaign. Dr. Linus Anukwu drove activities as president and chief executive officer of Savoy’s Bayview Family Clinic between 2009 and 2021, during which time he successfully scaled the operation from a single-physician practice to a regional healthcare leader. He previously served as a physician at Presence Covenant Medical Center and as chairman of Precious Nurses Healthcare, a business he grew to $20 million in annual revenue in just 36 months.
Dr. Anukwu graduated from the University of Lagos College of Medicine in Lagos, Nigeria. He then relocated to the United States to complete his medical education and training, beginning with an internal medicine residency and internship at Brown University. During his time as a clinical immunology fellow at Johns Hopkins University, he published two pieces in an internationally recognized medical journal. In addition to his medical degrees and credentials, Dr. Linus Anukwu holds a master of business administration from the University of Illinois in Champaign.
